Selected at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in Cannes, Jérome De Missolz asked us a billboard, a press kit, and typography contribution for the title… Wild Rock Never Dies!
Avant le soulèvement tunisien et après une année placée sous le signe des avant-gardes, nous avions décidé avec Jean-Louis Martinelli de mixer un flux de photographies de mouvements citoyens, de contestations et d’oppositions positives. Une envie d’insuffler dans l’espace public une énergie et des possibles, de renouer avec un théâtre d’engagement. L’actualité nous a rattrapés et, grâce à l’AFP, nous avons tenté d’être à la hauteur de ces événements spontanés et bouleversants.

A special release between our issues Zero and One, but who’s counting? Responding to the exhibition «Le Temps des Manifestes» at the Espace de l’Art Concret, curated by Fabienne Fulchéri, this visual experience can be made on the walls with posters, which actually are the signature sheets of the magazine. Posters being the privileged option, experts will understand that a few pages walk on the floor. Make up your mind and pick either one of these versions, or both. New Season: still yellow, but an uncluttered and geometric approach, a home-made typography and very close-up portraits. A face to face with the spectator in a abstract and constructivist composition for a theater that's always on the offensive.
